Client: Aalto Arts Books publishing house
A bookstore for Aalto Arts Books in the Arabia Center. The publishing house needed a bookstore temporarily before moving to the Otaniemi campus, so the design aimed to make use of the existing furniture on the campus. A large book wall that divided the space separated the office space from the retail space. The high-quality and versatile graphic design of the publishing house's covers is showcased when the entire selection is visible at a glance. In addition, a large browsing table and sales counter were designed for the space. The large "A" letter from a previously implemented booth became part of the store's interior outside of the book fair season.
